What a whirlwind week it's been — packed with chocolate, books, celebrities, and burgers! 🍫📚🎬🍔
𝐈 𝐤𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 Dahlia Chocolates in Mandaue City. Chef Grace Aquino and her husband Marlon are not just making chocolate — they’re redefining it. Their passion, creativity, and homegrown pride are changing the way we experience local cacao. If you haven’t tried their creations yet, you’re missing out on some serious chocolate magic!
𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩: Casa Gorordo Museum, where I discovered the elegant 𝐓𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐬 and delightful chocolate products by The Philippine Chocolate Company, all brought together by @Golden Prince Hotel & Suites. I love how they’re merging art, culture, and indulgence in one space — a perfect pasalubong spot for tourists and balikbayans.
𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 as I joined the Big Bad Wolf Cebu, Book Sale opening at G Mall of Cebu. I even got to sit down and chat with Big Bad Wolf Founder, 𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐚𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐠. We bonded over how books have a strange way of finding us when we need them the most. Don’t miss this book sale — it’s open until August 4 at the Atrium of G Mall of Cebu!

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐠𝐞𝐦 — a visit to Golden Valley Hotel Cebu. They’ve just celebrated 30 years of warm Cebuano hospitality, and I was so happy to be part of their celebration. Located in the heart of the city, this underrated hotel has clean rooms, friendly service, and seriously good food. Another Cebu spot added to my list!
To wrap up the week, I chomped down on a Yombig Burger at 𝐒𝐌 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮 — and let me tell you, it’s everything. Big, juicy beef patty? (Check), Crunchy chicken fillet? (Check), Fresh veggies and that signature Yombig sauce? (Check, check, check!)
It’s child-friendly, fast, and served with a smile, the staff at Yombig SM Cebu is super friendly and amazing. 𝐘𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐀𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬-𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 — 𝟐𝟎𝟎% 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐭!
