The Cebu Maritime Expo 2024 has once again set sail, navigating its way to another triumphant voyage in showcasing the cutting-edge innovations and unwavering commitment to safety within the maritime industry. Held against the breathtaking backdrop of the SM Seaside Sky Hall SMX, last April 18, 2024, this event unfurled its sails under the theme "Cebu Maritime Expo 2024: From Tourism, Promoting Safety to Innovations: The Philippine Maritime Landscape."


Spearheaded by the indefatigable efforts of Full-Force MarketStrat Gateway (FMG), in collaboration with the esteemed Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers (SONAME) and the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), this three-day extravaganza received an additional boost from the Dynamic Group, including Dynacast Shipbuilding & Repairs Inc., Dynamic Castings, Dynamic Power, and DM8 Composites.

With over 40 exhibitors from both local and international domains, the event transformed into a bustling marketplace of maritime technologies, services, and products. Simultaneously, a job fair echoed its commitment to bolstering local employment opportunities within the maritime sector, fostering growth and sustainability.



The presence of esteemed dignitaries such as Undersecretary Elmer Francisco Sarmiento of the Department of Transportation-Maritime, Marina Administrator Sonia B. Malaluan, and Cebu City Mayor Mike Rama, among others, underscored the significance of this gathering. Their shared vision, alongside maritime leaders and professionals, symbolizes a collective endeavor to position Cebu as a beacon in the maritime landscape.

As guests flooded the SM Skyhall, immersing themselves in the many booths and activities, the spirit of collaboration and progress permeated the atmosphere. From engaging exhibitions to captivating demonstrations, each interaction propelled the industry forward, igniting a passion for maritime excellence. Visitors enjoyed going through the various booths, learning the latest technologies, and some even bringing home a few freebies.

Thanks Ran and Michelle! As soon as we agreed on the time and date, nothing was going to stop me from eating a burger. We arrived around 5pm and the kitchen at Harvey's was really busy.
