I had the unique privilege of attending Globe’s Q2 2023 FINANCIAL MEDIA BRIEFING via zoom yesterday, August 15, 2023.

The Meeting was attended by Globe top executives, Carlo Puno, Darius Jose Delgado, Yolly Crisanto, Raymond Policarpio, Carlo Malana, including Globe President and CEO Ernest Cu.



Representatives from various media companies as well as content creators, vloggers, bloggers and social media influencers were also present during the meeting.

Corenne Agravio, Globe's Investor Relations Analyst was happy to report that Globe logged 53.7 Million sim registrations, the highest among all networks.



Liza Reyes, Globe's Head of Public Relations & Communications facilitated and moderated the meeting.

The Financial Briefing involved the performance of Globe and it's Telecommunication Facilities, Globe's Tech based resources, and Non-communication aspects. The meeting also discussed some of the company's expansion and strategy for the next half of the year, including future plans.




Globe President and CEO, Ernest Cu emphasized that the company is evolving with the different needs of the market, whereas communication was the only focus, but now subscribers and registered users are consuming more data than using Globe's communication services.

All in all, the financial briefing was filled with many milestones and positive things that ensure Globe is growing and headed towards the right direction.

Logging in a total of 11 hours and 50 minutes to celebrate this momentous event. The online celebration garnered a total of 69 member channels from all over Asia, Paris and the UK, with some guests from other parts of the world dropping by to greet members and participate in the games and festivities. Close to Php 30,000 worth of prizes were given away for the games and awarding individuals for their exemplary contribution in making the group a huge success. Earlier I got invited to watch the latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem at SM Seaside City Cebu (Official) The atmosphere was exciting, everyone was looking forward to this reboot. SM Cinema had cosplayers dressed up as the Ninja Turtles and boy were they cute. Drinks were served at the foyer and a DJ played beats for movie goers. Everyone enjoyed taking photos at the photo wall, selfies with the Ninja Turtles and a photo wall that you can write on. TMNT bandanas were also given out. I had a hard time wearing them though because I have a big head, hahaha, and it was made of cardboard so I had to improvise. I was expecting the cosplayers to be a lot bigger and taller but after watching the movie, I understood that this reboot focused on the TMNT being teens in New York City.
