I visited Shawarma Gourmet again this week and had a great time catching up Chef Mansour.

We got talking about the customers, the food, and how the restaurant began. I wanted to learn the secret to how Shawarma Gourmet has stood the test of time.

Because there's something about Shawarma Gourmet that makes the customers come back, there's a reason why people love their food, and personally, the whole place is just filled with good energy, you just want to visit the place and relax.



Conversations with Chef Mansour is always fun and enlightening, he always has a way of sharing motivational tips and life experiences, guaranteed to lift your spirits.

I always say that his energy overflows in the food they serve and it makes people happy. That's why customers are willing to eat at the restaurant, even if they live far away.

Shawarma Gourmet uses quality ingredients, the food is always fresh and they are not willing to shortchange their customers by giving smaller portions or lowering the standards of their ingredients.


Chef Mansour is very passionate about what he does. His experience as a hotelier complements his love for cooking and makes a good combination in adding to the success of Shawarma Gourmet.

He candidly shared one instance where he just walks around the restaurant looks at a table and out of instinct calls his staff and asks them, what did they order? I think there's something missing.

Chef Mansour has been in this business for so long that he knows if something is missing or if the order is not right.

We stopped our conversation because he says he is starting to feel hungry. He asks me what I want and instantly I answer Fries. I love the fries here. The crispy fries at Shawarma Gourmet is so good. Served with their own garlic-mayo sauce and ketchup. It's worth the money. TRUST ME!



I also love the Cheese Sambousek and the Beef Sambousek, so delicious specially when eaten piping hot. I cannot get over it.

We ended our conversation by talking about their staff, and I was so happy to share that behind his back, I talked to the staff asking them how they felt of him as a boss?

I told them to be honest. Is Chef Mansour a super strict boss? How is he when you guys make a mistake?

And the Staff told me that they enjoy working at Shawarma Gourmet. They have a boss who loves the restaurant and when they are having a bad day, Chef Mansour doesn't make life difficult for them.

Overall the success of Shawarma Gourmet comes from the many satisfied customers.

I love it when people complain about the food, Chef Mansour and his wife are always happy to say, "send us proof why you weren't satisfied with the food and if the complain is valid, we replace the food." or ask you to come over so we can make sure you are happy with your order.

Next is the vibe that the whole restaurant has... The place resounds with positivity, it's pet friendly and it overflows with the passion that Chef Mansour has in serving delicious Lebanese food.
